Jordan Johnson Martinez Editor: I am an 18-year-old living off Stevens Creek Road. I work almost every weekend, and when I get off work, I enjoy fishing. There is a pond in Stevens Point. On the other side of the bridge is the West Lake pond. To get to my favorite spot to fish, I have to park in Stevens Point off to the side. Recently, the homeowners association president stopped to ask me what I was doing. I told him. He then proceeded to explain how I should not park there due to people speeding; I replied that I was willing to take the risk. He then told me I could not fish there because I did not live there. I then told him that the pond is not owned by them, but by West Lake. He then said something along the lines of, "If you would like to start a problem, I can." I don't know what he means by that. Teens my age are always getting in trouble. All I wanted to do is fish after a day of work. These people have taken away everything that teens have. I then went home and sat on my couch. The worst part of it is I have an 11-year-old brother who loves fishing. I used to take him there because it is a place to catch fish. Now what will the younger kids have to do just to go fishing?
